Description

Time for backstory!

In August 2011, I managed to get my hands on an almost complete Lego Exo Force Moblie Battle Tank. I really enjoyed Lego's Exo Force series, even though the line lasted for only 2 1/2 years, which is less than 1/3 of the time Bionicle had existed. I've been collecting Exo Force models over the past 3 years.

After a couple of months I started watching some episodes of Megas XLR on YouTube. That series gave me a ton of inspiration to build my own robot. The first one didn't have any transforming features at all, but I started slowly changing the bot, part by part, until I ended up with this.

This took me ages to get it just the way I wanted it, not to mention so many hours of trial and error, so many individual varieties of Legos purchased from eBay. Hell, the wheels alone set me back by about $12. Those little yellow hinged panels on the sides set me back by over $7, and one of them shipped from England. The end result can barely stand up under its own power. Lol. I guess that's inevitable when you want a highly articulated robot that can transform. This is easily my most ambitious Lego project ever.

It transforms into a Cybertronian vehicle that's a combination of a tractor trailer cab and an all-purpose plow (That's a thing, right? I'm pretty sure that it never snows on Cybertron.)

Oh, and he has a super mode, too

Btw, in which category should it go?
